Twin Cedars FFA was established in 1978. We are happy to announce that this year we reached a milestone in our FFA Chapter. We have 100 members! This is a HUGE accomplishment due to the fact that our school, 7-12 grade, only consists of 150 students! It has been a great year, with many members that go beyond their duty to help with our Chapter. We have great community, faculty and staff support!
To be an active FFA member you must take a semester of Agriculture each year and pay your dues of $15.00, which goes to the state and National FFA organization. With block scheduling, it is now easier than ever to work an agricultural class into your schedule, so now there is no excuse not to be in FFA.
We do a variety of events each year. We compete at sub-district, district and state career development events, we attend many educational field trips that further our knowledge about agriculture, we compete at the state science fair each year, we host a community wide blood drive, hold an elementary rodeo, host an agriculture day for our elementary students, and much, much more. The best thing about our chapter, we are all FAMILY!
